Log of the Cruise – Saint Lucia 4th December 2016

(The following log features extracts from the Ship’s Official Log Book, with the entries recorded by the Officer of the Watch on the Navigational Bridge - 10-Day Eastern Caribbean - November, 30 - December, 10, 2016)

During the night and early morning we set a number of south and south-easterly courses as we made our way to Saint Lucia. We picked up the pilot approximately 1.5 nautical miles (1.73 Statute miles) from the berth and we were alongside in Saint Lucia by 07:11. In the evening, when all our lines were on-board and all pre-departure checks has been completed, we thrusted off the berth and began our passage towards Barbados. We set an initial south course and then altered to a south-easterly course after we passed to the south of Saint Lucia. We then passed across the North Caribbean Ocean.

Weather experienced during the day:
Noon Position: Saint Lucia
Wind: Easterly Force 3
Sky: Partly Cloudy
Pressure: 1014 hpa
Temperature: 29.3ºC / 85ºF
