Log of the Cruise – At Sea 2nd December 2016


(The following log features extracts from the Ship’s Official Log Book, with the entries recorded by the Officer of the Watch on the Navigational Bridge - 10-Day Eastern Caribbean - November, 30 - December, 10, 2016)

 Throughout the previous night and early this morning, Royal Princess continued on her course of 120 degrees over the North Atlantic Ocean towards the north east coast of Puerto Rico. Below the Keel, we had over 5000 meters (16000 ft), as we transited over the Nares Abyssal Plain. Once we were north of Puerto Rico, we headed for the island of Anegada, where we then altered our course to starboard and passed Saint Maarten on our port side. Weather experienced during the day:
Noon Position: 20º20.2'N 066º45.6'W
Wind: East North Easterly Force 4
Sky: Sunny/light clouds and Occasional Showers
Pressure: 1016 hpa
Temperature: 28,7ºC/84ºF
